Baseball Recap: Hanover Gets the Win

Hanover won the last time they faced Duxbury and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Dragons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Max Aikins was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Thomas Perkins was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Hanover's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Duxbury, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5-1.

Coming up, Hanover will take on Holliston on Monday. Duxbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
