Football Recap: Robichaud Beats Romulus for Their Third Straight Victory

Robichaud extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came out on top against the Romulus Eagles by a score of 20-12. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Eagles on their field since August 30, 2018.

As for Romulus, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-3. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Robichaud since Friday.

Despite the loss, Romulus still got an impressive performance from Torrence Searcy, who rushed for 109 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 124 yards and one TD. David Bullock was another key player, picking up 88 receiving yards and one score.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Robichaud is set to square off against their familiar foe Redford Union at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Romulus will challenge rival Melvindale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
