With a playoff win on the line, Chesterton rose to the challenge on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the South Central Satellites 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won five matches in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chesterton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adam LeNeave, who had 13 digs.
Chesterton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive games.
South Central's loss came despite strong showings from Dylan Sanchez and Logan Terkovitz. Sanchez had 13 digs and one assist, while Terkovitz had 20 kills and 16 digs. Terkovitz has been hot for a while, having posted seven or more kills the last 12 times he's played.
