Tecumseh suffers fourth straight loss on the road

Recap: Tecumseh Braves vs. Heritage Hills Patriots

The Tecumseh Braves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Heritage Hills on the road and fell 84-34. Tecumseh has not had much luck with Heritage Hills recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Leading Heritage Hills to victory were Colten Hopf and Trent Sisley. Hopf scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Sisley scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Sisley has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jake Prior, who scored seven points along with two steals.

Tecumseh bumped their record down to 4-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Heritage Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Tecumseh will head out on the road to challenge Forest Park at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Heritage Hills, Heritage Hills and Southridge will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Southridge is ranked 58th, while Heritage Hills is ranked 37th).
