Baseball Recap: Seneca Valley Takes a Loss

Seneca Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Quince Orchard Cougars. If the Screamin' Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Cougars when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Seneca Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Ajayi, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That hit was Ajayi's first of the season.

Seneca Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Seneca Valley will square off against Gaithersburg at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Quince Orchard, they will challenge Clarksburg on Monday.
