Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Aiden Coffey and Cannon Case Lead Shenandoah to Victory

After losing to Eastern Hancock the last time they met, Shenandoah decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Shenandoah Raiders came out on top against the Eastern Hancock Royals by a score of 59-47 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Leading Shenandoah to victory were Cannon Case and Aiden Coffey. Case went 8 of 12 en route to 18 points and eight boards, while Coffey went 7 for 11 on his way to 19 points. Coffey's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Maddux Davis, who posted 11 points.

Shenandoah was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern Hancock only racked up 11 assists.

Eastern Hancock lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Caden Powers, who went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points. Luke Schilling was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 12 points.

Shenandoah's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Eastern Hancock, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-5.

Shenandoah has already played their next game (against Union County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eastern Hancock has already played their next match, a 60-53 defeat against Lapel on the 31st.
