Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Warriors vs. Magnolia Blue Eagles

The Trinity Christian Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Magnolia Blue Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Trinity Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Clay-Battelle, posting a 60-29 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Warriors with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Magnolia played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 61-35 to Caldwell. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Blue Eagles came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 96th in West Virginia, while the Redskins are ranked 566th in Ohio).

Trinity Christian's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for Magnolia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Trinity Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Magnolia in their previous matchup last Saturday, winning 44-37. Does Trinity Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Magnolia turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
