Basketball Recap: Wilmot Skates Past Langford with Ease

Wilmot posted their biggest victory since February 26, 2024 on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 68-40 win over the Langford Lions. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.

Kassen Keough and Jacob Samson certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Keough went 8 of 19 on his way to 25 points and four steals, while Samson posted 12 points. Keough's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points.

Wilmot's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Langford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, Wilmot will face off against Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Langford, they will take on Faulkton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
