Football Recap: Clearfield Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 7-7 at halftime, Clearfield was not quite Bishop Guilfoyle's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 20-13 to the Marauders. Having soared to a lofty 43 points in the game before, the Bison couldn't push the score so high this time.

Clearfield's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colton Ryan, who rushed for 132 yards and one score. Another receiver making a difference was Cooper Broad, who gained 116 total yards and a touchdown.

Clearfield's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Clearfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Penn Cambria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 12.1 points per game this season, so the Bison's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, they will square off against Bishop McCort at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Marauders will need to watch out since the Crushers have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven contests.
