After soaring to 43 points the game before, Clearfield was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 20-13 to the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders. The Bison's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Clearfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Clearfield is set to take on their familiar foe Penn Cambria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bishop Guilfoyle will challenge rival Bishop McCort at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Marauders 12, the Crushers 9.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
