Volleyball Recap: ALA - West Foothills Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

ALA - West Foothills barely beat ALA - Ironwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Guardians put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Guardians in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

While ALA - West Foothills won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Parker Mitchell, who had 19 assists and four digs. Those 19 assists gave him a new career-high. Wyatt Crawford also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

When it comes to explaining why ALA - Ironwood lost, don't look at Jayda Dominguez. Despite the final result, he had 14 digs and two aces.
