Norwalk came out on top against Firebaugh on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Lancers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Falcons a 7-0 shutout. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Norwalk's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Firebaugh, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
