Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Borgia Beats Washington for Their Third Straight Victory

St. Francis Borgia extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping them up to 6-3-2. Everything went their way against the Washington Bluejays as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bluejays, too.

As for Washington, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-3 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since October 23, 2024.

Despite the loss, Washington still got an impressive performance from Kendal Gilmor, who had 13 digs and three aces. Gilmor is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

St. Francis Borgia has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Pacific on the 15th. As for Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against St. Clair on the 15th.
