Basketball Recap: Sparta Triumphs

Sparta won against Morris Hills last Monday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Sparta Spartans came out on top against the Roxbury Gaels by a score of 49-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2020.

Sparta now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Roxbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Sparta will square off against West Morris Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Roxbury, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Morris Knolls at 5:30 p.m. Morris Knolls will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Roxbury surely won't give up without a fight.
