Volleyball Recap: Krum Takes a Loss

Krum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Sulphur Springs Wildcats.

Lyla Elkington paced Krum's offense, picking up eight kills. Elkington got some help from Molly Ward and her seven assists.

Krum's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Sulphur Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Coming up, Krum will be playing at home against Holliday at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sulphur Springs, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Peaster on the 23rd.
