Football Recap: Southwest DeKalb Panthers vs. Kell Longhorns
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Southwest DeKalb can now relate to. They took a 17-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kell Longhorns on Friday. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 31-22 to the Longhorns when the teams met back in November of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Braylon Carter threw for 132 yards and one touchdown.
Moonie Gipson had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 176 yards and one TD while picking up 8.4 yards per carry for Kell. Gipson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 161 rushing yards.

Southwest DeKalb does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kell, they will square off against Cartersville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns will need to watch out since the Hurricanes have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
