Soccer Recap: Chaska Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Chaska and Jefferson meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Hawks fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Chaska have lost by just one goal.

Chaska's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-2.

Looking ahead, Chaska will head out on the road to square off against Chanhassen at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jefferson, they will take on Apple Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Apple Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Jefferson surely won't give up without a fight.
