Recap: Atkinson County Rebels vs. Turner County Titans
The Atkinson County Rebels scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They strolled past Turner County with points to spare, taking the game 85-68. The win was just what Atkinson County needed coming off of a 51-30 loss in their prior contest.
Atkinson County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ja'Kari Northcutt, who scored 30 points. Another player making a difference was Savanna Williams, who scored 29 points.
Atkinson County has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Turner County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.
