Volleyball Recap: Nebraska Lutheran Takes a Loss

Nebraska Lutheran managed to slip by Twin River the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Titans on Friday. The Knights' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

While Nebraska Lutheran was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-19.

Samantha Hueske paced Nebraska Lutheran's offense, picking up nine kills. Hueske got some help from Autumn Malchow and her 19 assists. Malchow was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Nebraska Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Twin River, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Nebraska Lutheran nor Twin River have any future games scheduled.
