Recap: Urbana Hillclimbers vs. North Union Wildcats
The Urbana Hillclimbers put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 57-48 victory over North Union. Given Urbana's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while North Union is ranked 236th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Peyton Mounce continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Urbana's points. Another player making a difference was Lyza Forson, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds.
Urbana has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 4-0 record. As for North Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Urbana will play host again and welcome Jonathan Alder, where tip off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Union, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Benjamin Logan at 2:30 p.m.
