It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Corsicana had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against Belton by a score of 6-3. This was a revenge game for Corsicana: when they faced off against Belton on Thursday, they had to take a 9-7 loss.

Corsicana is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8-1 record this season. As for Belton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-15.

Coming up, Corsicana will square off against Wilson on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
