Verrado has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They fell just short of the Ironwood Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vipers of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2020.

Verrado's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-2. As for Ironwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Verrado will be playing at home against Kofa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kofa knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Verrado likes a good challenge. As for Ironwood, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will take on Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
