Basketball Recap: Asbury Comes Up Short

Asbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 73-42 loss at the hands of the Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Asbury's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Whitesburg Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Asbury will face off against Geraldine at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Whitesburg Christian Academy, they will take on Hewitt-Trussville at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
