Football Game Preview: Ennis Mustangs vs. Manhattan Christian Eagles

The Ennis Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Manhattan Christian Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ennis has five straight victories, Manhattan Christian has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Friday, Ennis blew past Twin Bridges, posting a 40-6 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-0.

Manhattan Christian played against Park City on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Manhattan Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Ennis, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Ennis suffered a grim 44-24 defeat to Manhattan Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
