Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Skates Past Castaic with Ease

Legacy Christian Academy had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 34-point drubbing they dealt Castaic on Saturday. The Legacy Christian Academy Lions blew past the Castaic Coyotes 81-47. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Coyotes are ranked 856th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Legacy Christian Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game.
