Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Archie Weatherspoon V and Marceles Duncan Lead Rangeview to Victory + How To Watch

On Wednesday Rangeview's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles 71-68. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Eagles, too.

Leading Rangeview to victory were Marceles Duncan and Archie Weatherspoon V. Duncan shot 60% from the field on his way to 27 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals, while Weatherspoon V posted 23 points and five assists. Those 27 points gave Duncan a new career-high. Aidan Perez was another key player, putting up ten points.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain Vista lost, don't look at Oliver Junker. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Rooney, who earned 13 points.

Rangeview's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Mountain Vista, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rangeview will take on Denver North in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain Vista, they will take on Windsor in a tournament on Thursday.
