Baseball Recap: Palm Springs Indians vs. Rancho Mirage Rattlers
After flying high against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy last Monday, Palm Springs came back down to earth. The Indians fell 6-2 to the Rancho Mirage Rattlers on Tuesday. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 7-5 to the Rattlers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Ian Ernesto Arroyo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI. Jordan Baggett was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.
Palm Springs' loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Rancho Mirage, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-11.
