Volleyball Recap: Berean Christian Takes a Loss

Berean Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Grace Christian Academy Rams, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Berean Christian of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Berean Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Grace Christian Academy work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24, 25-20.

Jaidyn Baird paced Berean Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Baird got some help from Sarah Rimmer and her nine assists. Rimmer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Allie Snyder, racking up three apiece.

Berean Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Grace Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Berean Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Christian Academy of Knoxville on the 4th. As for Grace Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lakeway Christian Academy on the 4th.
