Softball Recap: Page Comes Up Short

Page made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Walker Valley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Patriots fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 10-8 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 on Wednesday.

Anna Johnson was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and three runs while going 2-for-3. Adriana Callahan was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Page's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Walker Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Page nor Walker Valley have any future games scheduled.
