The victory got Roncalli Catholic back to even at 1-1. As for Mount Michael Benedictine, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Mount Michael Benedictine came out on top in a nail-biter against Roncalli Catholic in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 7-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount Michael Benedictine since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
