Volleyball Recap: Jupiter Victorious

Jupiter's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Dwyer Panthers. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Jupiter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.

Tristan R Brassington paced Jupiter's offense, picking up 19 kills. R Brassington got some help from Walker Weizer and his 36 assists. R Brassington was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

The victory got Jupiter back to even at 1-1. As for Dwyer, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Jupiter will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Seminole Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dwyer, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Glades Central at 6:30 p.m.
