Soccer Recap: Kalani Comes Up Short

After flying high against McKinley last Saturday, Kalani came back down to earth. The Kalani Falcons fell just short of the Castle Knights by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Falcons couldn't quite close it out.

With the loss, Kalani broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Castle, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kalani will venture away from home to take on Kalaheo at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Castle, they will head out to face off against Moanalua at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Moanalua is on a three-game streak of home wins, Castle a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
