Recap: Del Mar Dons vs. Harker Eagles
The Del Mar Dons were the 55-53 winner over the Harker Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Del Mar was outmatched by Harker on the road and fell 53-22. Del Mar has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Advay Monga was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds for Harker. The match was Monga's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Zhang, who scored 7 points.
Del Mar's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Harker, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Del Mar will square off against Basis Independent Silicon Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Harker won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Valley Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 6th. Valley Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 208 points over their last three matches.
