Baseball Recap: St. Michael Comes Up Short

St. Michael was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-9 to the Valley Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-11 on Wednesday.

St. Michael's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Michael will venture away from home to face off against El Capitan at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Valley, they will challenge Northland Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
