Volleyball Game Preview: Stafford Spartans vs. Sealy Tigers

Stafford is 0-10 against Sealy since October of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Spartans will take on the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Stafford sitting on four straight wins and Sealy on 11.

On Tuesday, Stafford got the win against Harmony School of Innovation by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Stafford was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-3.

Meanwhile, Sealy made easy work of Royal on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sealy took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-12, 25-12.

Stafford's win bumped their record up to 14-18. As for Sealy, their victory bumped their record up to 22-11.

Stafford couldn't quite get it done against Sealy in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
