Volleyball Recap: Centennial Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Paige Hager and Zoey Armstrong

Centennial managed to slip by Palm Beach Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Broncos on Thursday. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

While Centennial ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Centennial had strong showings from Zoey Armstrong, who had eight digs and five assists, and Paige Hager, who had five digs and one assist.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Palm Beach Central, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Centennial has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Treasure Coast on the 13th. As for Palm Beach Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Leonard on the 14th.
