Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Calvary Christian won the last time they faced Williamstown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars put the hurt on the Demons with a sharp 3-0 victory. While the Cougars didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Calvary Christian took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-9.

Calvary Christian pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Williamstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

Calvary Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Campbell County on the 11th. As for Williamstown, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Harrison County on the 10th.
