Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bel Air). They blew past the Horizon Scorpions 71-41 on Tuesday. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Matt Hernandez, who went 11 for 19 on his way to 33 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two). Sebastian Velasquez was another key player, putting up six points.
Bel Air was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.
