Basketball Recap: Tri-Township Tigers vs. West Central Trojans        
        
		
             Tri-Township's game  last Saturday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They secured  a  44-40 W over the West Central Trojans. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.
 Tri-Township was led to victory by  Jayde Pryor and  Addison Hendrixson.  Pryor  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and ten  rebounds, while  Hendrixson  went 6 for 9 en route to 12 points plus six  rebounds. Pryor is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Tri-Township  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  matchups.
 Despite the  loss, West Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Madisyn DeMoss  went 5 for 11 en route to 12 points plus five  rebounds and five  blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of  Katie Scholz, who  had six points plus three  steals.
 Tri-Township's record is now 3-1. As for West Central,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-2.
 Tri-Township wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  51-48  victory against Illiana Christian on the 21st. As for West Central, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on South Central at 7:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
