Colby is 8-2 against Ulysses since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will face off against the Tigers at 4:00  p.m. Colby is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7  runs per game  this season.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Colby faced off against Cimarron on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of  4-3. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bluejays: they've now lost six in a row.
  Jalyssa Sabatka made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and one  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Ulysses came up short against Spearville last Friday and fell  10-7. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Colby's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Ulysses, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
 Colby was able to grind out a solid  win over Ulysses when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, winning  11-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
