Basketball Recap: Seth Mutz's Big Game Can't Quite Lead S & S Consolidated over Howe

S & S Consolidated lost against Howe back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The S & S Consolidated Rams fell 38-25 to the Howe Bulldogs. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured 18 losses in a row.

S & S Consolidated's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Seth Mutz, who posted seven points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Mutz a new career-high in points.

S & S Consolidated's record now sits at 1-24. As for Howe, they moved to 9-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bells the next time they take the court. Howe will host Bells at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while S & S Consolidated will host them at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
