Fairbanks put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Northeastern Jets 3-0. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jets, too.

Fairbanks found their leader in sophomore Mallereigh Rankin, who had four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Rankin.

Fairbanks was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Fairbanks' victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Northeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Fairbanks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Catholic Central on the 9th. Northeastern has also already played their next match (against Cedarville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
