Softball Recap: Myers Park Mustangs vs. Berry Cardinal
In what's become a running theme this season, Myers Park gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They never let the Berry Cardinal onto the board and left with a 16-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Myers Park sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Regan Godman made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Godman was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI.
In other batting news, Izzy Crowther and Ryann Rempson did most of the damage at the plate: Crowther got on base in all three of her plate appearances with a home run and three runs, while Rempson went 1-for-2 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Lara Howard, who went 1-for-2 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.
