Ida Baker and Mariner are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2017, but not for long. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tritons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Friday, Ida Baker lost to Oasis on the road by a 25-11 margin. The Bulldogs were down 25-3 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Ida Baker had strong showings from Nikolas Korf, who rushed for 115 yards while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and Caelum Cragin, who picked up 86 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Mariner's offense. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of Estero. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Tritons were not able to get on the board.

Mariner's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Ida Baker, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
