Football Recap: Amina Antoine and Bailey Litt Lead the Defense for Temecula Prep Win

Temecula Prep got themselves on the board against University City on Saturday, but University City never followed suit. They snuck past the Centurions with a 6-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Patriots' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Centurions are ranked 287th).

Temecula Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Amina Antoine and Bailey Litt.

Temecula Prep's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for University City, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Temecula Prep will take on California Military Institute at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University City, they will challenge Morse at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 11.4 points per game this season, so the Centurions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
