Soccer Recap: Sotomayor Comes Up Short

Sotomayor's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Warren Warriors by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in January.

Sotomayor's goal came courtesy of Peyton Mckinney, who's now up to 11 this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Sotomayor and nudges their season record down to 13-6. As for Warren, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Coincidentally, Sotomayor and Warren will both be playing Harlan the next time they take the pitch. Warren will host Harlan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Sotomayor will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
