Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Now 11-1 over Last 12 Games

There's no place like home for Notre Dame Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Barrington Fillies/Broncos on Friday.

Notre Dame Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Barrington to exactly 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Grace Portwood paced Notre Dame Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Portwood got some help from Lizzy Larkins and her ten assists. Dara Jackson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Notre Dame Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Barrington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Notre Dame Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hamilton on the 3rd. As for Barrington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Montini Catholic on the 4th.
