Softball Recap: Alta Comes Up Short

Alta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Springville Red Devils, falling 12-4.

Danica Doyle and Brielle Watson did some serious damage despite the final result: Doyle went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Watson went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Alta's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Springville, their record now sits at 12-3.

Looking ahead, Alta will take on Pleasant Grove in a tournament on Saturday. As for Springville, they will square off against Desert Hills at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Thunder will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
