Soccer Recap: Saratoga Wins Going Away Against Monta Vista

Everything went their way against the Monta Vista Matadors as the Saratoga Falcons made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Akash Gupta and Finn Smith scored all three of Saratoga's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Saratoga's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 4-4-2. As for Monta Vista, they moved to 6-2-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
