Baseball Game Preview: Cambridge Bluejays vs. Lake Mills L-Cats

Cambridge hasn't had much luck against Lake Mills recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bluejays are taking a road trip to face off against the L-Cats at 5:00 p.m. Cambridge will be strutting in after a win while Lake Mills will be coming in after a defeat.

Cambridge barely beat Poynette the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bluejays blew past the Pumas 11-1 on Tuesday. The Bluejays have beaten the Pumas the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Pumas has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Lake Mills came up short against New Glarus on Tuesday and fell 10-6. The loss continues a trend for the L-Cats in their meetings with the Glarner Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Max Stelter was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Alex Parys also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lake Mills fell to 5-1. As for Cambridge, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 5-1.
